Cladding
Ship-lap cladding comes in 5 m lengths and is 150mm wide. There is a variety of corner trim and starter trim which are used when fitting.
A suitable structure should be constructed for fixing cladding and a damp proof membrane installed to prevent moisture penetration.
Cladding is nailed at a maximum of 600mm centers. It is fitted horizontally to the previously installed timber frame using 30mm ring-shank cladding pins.
